Colour inspiration CTC#477

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining the amazing CASEING the CATTY team in our weekly blog hop!!  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing catalogues (catty).

This week we are caseing the colours of the Wildly Flowering papers which are:  Moody Mauve, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

I needed some help for inspiration for these colours.  The amazing Tammy created this gorgeous card here which I just LOVED.  My cards are not quite as amazing as hers, but I am happy with them.

The wreath is created using one of the Painted Lavender dies, and the flowers come from the Lovely and Sweet dies.

The greetings came from the Layering Leaves and Simply Zinnia stamp sets and I've heat embossed them onto Early Espresso.

Inside is simple stamping.

Which greeting works best do you think?

Make sure you keep hopping for lots more fabulous inspiration!!

UP next is the amazing Courtenay

You can see more inspiration here in our Facebook Group.

  1. Gorgeous wreath cards Julia. Your cards ARE amazing. I adore Mossy Meadows, Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve and Early Expresso together. I love both sentiments but if pushed I think I prefer the longer sentiment. Both so wonderful. xxx
